Tree Bark Art

Osage Buffalo - Measuring about 8.5” long and 7.5” wide, this wall art is slightly curved and about 2.75” away from the wall. Crafted from a fallen tree branch from a storm in Big Spring Park, it has been seasoned, harvested, dried and worked to create the canvas for this piece of art. The art itself is acrylic and has a varnish finish to protect the wood and paint, ensuring it will last for many, many moons. Hand-painted onto the canvas is a buffalo which was inspired by Sheena's many visits to the Osage Buffalo Ranch located on her children's reservation. This wall art is ready to be displayed in an office, studio, cabin or even a personal display and has a great story attached - Buffalo in the Osage language, thanks to Arabel StandingBear.
